Damage—the shock gradually erodes many layers of life.

Impact on the body

Restrictions in movement, persistent fatigue, scattered focus. Plan with these waves in mind, and shift toward work without overexertion. It is not weakness; it is strategy for endurance.

Impact on work

Fewer hours, smaller roles. But by stating clearly what you can and cannot do, the team’s support often grows stronger. Transparency nurtures trust.

Impact on relationships

More broken promises, more misunderstandings, more distance. Still, make honesty a habit. Share weakness as well; relationships may thin, but they persist.

Restructuring daily life

Reassign chores, adjust commuting, bring in external services if needed. Small choices reshape life. Make “don’t carry it alone” the mantra.

Why I write

Damage is subtle, often invisible, spreading quietly. That is why I record it. Not as a chronicle of despair, but as evidence of adaptation. Even after the blow, we change shape and move forward.
